      We wish to thank the editor for allowing us to respond to the letter to the editor, which raised two concerns: first, whether we kept the subject's hands in the same position for sensory and motor inching and ultrasonographic studies; and second, whether we should have determined the nerve length by ultrasound instead of tape measurement for better accuracy.
