Current Evidence From the Randomized Controlled Trials Rehabilitation Checklist (RCTRACK) reporting guideline project

      The quality of the reporting of clinical trials in rehabilitation has been improving but it should be enhanced further. This editorial introduces a collaborative effort by the American Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AJPM&R), the Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (APM&R), and the European Journal of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (EJPRM) aimed at promoting the development of new reporting guidelines for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) in rehabilitation using the Randomized Controlled Trials Rehabilitation Checklist (RCTRACK) initiative of Cochrane Rehabilitation.

      These journals are publishing 3 complimentary thematic Special Sections with the articles produced during the fourth Cochrane Rehabilitation Methodology Meeting held in Orlando, Florida, in March 2020. These articles summarize the background literature of the RCTRACK guidelines, which are now in the last stages of production.
