The systematic review and meta-analysis by Hong et al

investigates the effectiveness of neuromuscular electrical stimulation modalities
on lower limb activity in participants with chronic stroke (more than 6 months). The
review and meta-analyses found that the neuromuscular electrical stimulation modalities
