Although fatigue is one of the most commonly reported and debilitating symptoms after
TBI, no comprehensive reviews of the post-TBI fatigue (PTBIF) treatment literature
have been published. The proposed presentation will describe the methodology and findings
of a systematic review designed to generate a comprehensive picture of research on
treatment and management of PTBIF. The review also takes into account empirical literature
on fatigue interventions developed for individuals with other medical conditions.
The review is a collaboration between experts in systematic review methodology (Model
Systems Knowledge Translation Center) and clinical researchers with expertise in TBI
(TBI Model System researchers).
